However, they seem to only be about Lindsay and Joe’s relationship now, and this book was mostly focused on terrorism, which doesn’t really seem like a job a homicide detective would get put in charge of. I’ve read every book in this series except one, and I can definitely say the first ten or so were pretty great. Patterson books are easy to read fast and also have short chapters, so it’s easy to set it down. I have two little kids, so trying to read a long, drawn-out book can be quite difficult.
